West Ham ace Michail Antonio sends four-word message to fans
Michail Antonio has delivered a motivational message to West Ham fans following the Hammers Europa League defeat at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.
The Irons sustained a blow in their hopes of reaching the quarter final as Sevilla beat them 1-0 in the round of 16 first leg.
David Moyes’ side, Antonio in particular, will take much encouragement from their impressive display in Seville and will be eager to get the Spanish side back to east London.
He shared on his personal Twitter: “It’s far from over”
Antonio was certainly West Ham’s best player in the first leg against Sevilla. He held the ball up terrifically, stretched their defence and caused them big problems with his pace and brute strength.
The striker did a good job of bringing his teammates into play, but his impact would have been much greater if the Hammers other star man, Jarrod Bowen, featured.

He would have given the Sevilla defenders something else to deal with and West Ham probably would have won the game if he played. Antonio looked on it but definitely lacked that support that Bowen offers.
It is still uncertain whether the 25-year-old will return for the London Stadium but either way the Irons have a great chance of advancing to the next round.
For now though, all of their attention reverts to the Premier League as they prepare to face Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa who have their tails up.
In other West Ham news, the Irons should have come away from Sevilla with more – David Moyes.
