West Ham ace Declan Rice willing to consider his options in summer

West Ham star man Declan Rice is “willing to consider his options” in the summer as a host of domestic and European clubs circle the midfielder.

The England international has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of seasons, establishing himself as a key man for his club and country.

Transfer insider Dean Jones claimed that if Manchester United really wanted the “gettable” Hammers man, they could sign him in the summer.

He told Give Me Sport: “Declan Rice, I think he’s gettable at this stage.

“And if United were to really go for it, I think they could get him. I think Declan Rice is willing to consider his options this summer.”

Hero to zero

How could Rice leave West Ham for the Red Devils at the minute? He is on the cusp of greatness at the London Stadium and is part of something really special in the Irons team.

It isn’t very often they find themselves in European semi-finals, especially with as much chance of winning the competition as they currently boast – David Moyes’ side are the quiet favourites and he surely knows that.

It would be an absolute disaster if he stayed with the club and wins the Europa League, earning them Champions League football, to then leave for Old Trafford in. the summer.

They will undoubtedly get better but you would imagine the mood around east London is far better than at United given the shambolic state they often find themselves in.

With that being said, Rice may believe he has served his duty by delivering the Hammers fans a trophy – if they go on to win the Europa League – and can depart as a legend. But, that would likely see him go from hero to zero in the eyes of the Irons supporters.

What happens from now until the end of the season is massive in deciding his future.
