Serie C boss drools over West Ham United forward Gianluca Scamacca
Serie C club Trento manager Bruno Tedino has showered heaps of praise on West Ham forward Gianluca Scamacca.
The Italy international joined the Hammers in the summer transfer window from Sassuolo and expectations are high for him following his big-money move.
The former Italy under 17 coach has hailed Scamacca as a “phenomenon” and has tipped him to become a star in the future.

“Physically he is a giant and he is also skilled with shooting and has a right that strikes the opposing goalkeepers,” said Tedino, as quoted by ITA Sportpress.
“He is a phenomenon and in the Premier League he will do well, but he finds a completely different football, without tactics and with people who go at 500 per hour to recover the ball even 70 meters away.
“I am sure he will do very well because he is ready for the big leagues, has great technique but above all a good character. He is intelligent and understands everything the coach tells him straight away.”

West Ham needed to sign a striker this summer and they were linked with a host of players.
Michail Antonio has served the club as a lone striker for the past two seasons, and David Moyes had to bring in someone who will not only add depth to the squad but will challenge him for the starting role as well.
Eventually, they signed Scamacca from Sassuolo. He is a highly-rated young striker who is also a regular member of the Italy national team.

After initial tweeting problems, which is adjusting to a new league and system, Scamacca is now scoring goals frequently. In fact, he has scored three goals in his last four games, and he is getting better and better.
There’s still a lot more to come from him, and Tedino feels that he is ready to shine in the Premier League.
Scamacca is expected to start on Saturday (15 October) when the Hammers take on Southampton in the league at St Mary’s.
