Transfer insider backs Championship star to suit West Ham amid speculation
West Ham United are keen to sign Fulham attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho in January and transfer insider Dean Jones likes the thought.
The 19-year-old has been turning heads in the Championship this season and scored his eighth second division goal of the season on Saturday (22 January) against Stoke City.
It is thought that David Moyes is keen to see Carvalho come to the London Stadium but he may face competition from other Premier League clubs [TEAMtalk]

Jones however can see West Ham being the perfect fit for Carvalho in the Premier League.
“We’ll have to see how that one plays out, but he’s a very good young player and I’m sure a club like West Ham would suit him,” Jones said speaking to Give Me Sport.
Potential overflowing
Carvalho has got it all as he has shown on multiple occasions in the Championship so it comes as no surprise that the Irons aren’t the only side after the 19-year-old.

He made his senior debut in the Premier League last season when Fulham, eventually, were relegated but he has taken his opportunity in a lower division to show what he is really all about.
Formerly of the Benfica youth system, Carvalho is incredibly technically gifted and his close control makes it very difficult to win the ball off him in tight scenarios.
He is now adding goals to his game and that has helped the Cottagers score an eye-watering 73 league goals in 27 matches.
He hasn’t hit the same heights when it comes to assists with just two in the league so far but at 19 years of age, you can’t expect him to be the finished product.
Having said that, if there is a chance West Ham could sign him, they most definitely should because they will regret it if they don’t.
In other West Ham news, a BBC pundit says this Hammer looked “really fatigued” during the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.
