Tottenham target ‘homegrown’ Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United amid Declan Rice transfer race
West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen is wanted by Tottenham this summer, but the Hammers are unlikely to sell him, according to The Athletic.
The publication noted that the East London outfit are reluctant to let go of Bowen as they prepare to lose captain Declan Rice.
Star attacker Bowen is on Tottenham’s list of homegrown targets, and has been on their radar for years, The Athletic added.

The Athletic noted that Bowen is “on the club’s list of homegrown targets,” for Tottenham this summer.
“There is, though, an acceptance that West Ham are unlikely to sell – especially given they are expected to be letting captain Declan Rice go this summer. Bowen is another who has been on Spurs’ radar for several years.”

Must keep
West Ham really must do all they can to keep hold of their star winger Bowen, particularly amid the very likely exit of midfield maestro Rice this summer.
The Hammers captain looks certain to leave the London Stadium very shortly, and the club will be desperate to avoid any other high-profile exits for at least another year.
A major profit would, however, be on the cards if the former Hull City attacker was to leave East London this summer, but West Ham will be receiving a huge fee for Rice, so funds won’t exactly be the main issue for David Moyes in the coming months.
Bowen didn’t exactly have his best season in claret and blue last time out, but he remains one of the club’s most important players, having proven his quality time and again in previous campaigns.
Despite not registering as many goals and assists as we would have liked, the winger was key in the club’s superb success in the Europa Conference League.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have made an approach to sign one 16-goal striker this summer.
