Tottenham join West Ham United in pursuit of Bristol City ace Alex Scott as Jack Grealish wowed by talent
West Ham United are admirers of Bristol City talent Alex Scott with Tottenham also eyeing a summer move, according to The Sun.
The 19-year-old impressed during the Robins’ FA Cup defeat to Manchester City which led Jack Grealish to describe the midfielder as a “top, top talent” (The Sun, 2 March).
It’s understood Tottenham have been long-time admirers of the Bristol City youngster and have been tracking his progress. Crystal Palace are also believed to be interested.

Electric
Scott’s performance against Manchester City was electric and completely deserving of the praise which came flooding his way. It was seriously impressive for such a young player to produce a fearless display against some of the best players in the world.
The Championship side will face a battle to keep hold of Scott. He’s a player who looks destined to play in the Premier League – and if a big bid is made, it will be too tough to turn down.

If West Ham do secure their Premier League status, the 19-year-old is a player they should consider. The club spent big last summer and the rewards have yet to show. They’ve had success in the past shopping in the Championship and they shouldn’t be scared to go down that route again.
However, a good run of form to secure their Premier League survival is the priority before considering potential summer transfer targets. Next up for Moyes’ men is a trip to the South Coast to face Brighton and Hove Albion, a team they have never beaten in the Premier League.
