Torino ask West Ham United for discount on already-agreed Nikola Vlasic deal
Serie A club Torino have asked West Ham United for a discount on the future fee to sign Croatian playmaker Nikola Vlasic, according to Tuttosport.
The 25-year-old was allowed to leave the London Stadium in the summer having failed to impress David Moyes and he has since gone on to excel in the Italian top flight.
As a result, Torino are keen to make his loan move a permanent one when the January transfer window opens but they are now keen to save some money in the process.

Written into Vlasic’s loan deal is an optional future fee of £12.9million (15million Euros) but the Turin club don’t want to pay that much despite agreeing to it in the summer when the deal was struck.
Instead, they are now trying to bargain with the Hammers to get a reduction in cost to bring the Croatian international, who has helped his side to the quarter-finals of the World Cup, to Italy full-time.
Pay up
Torino only have themselves to blame for having to pay £12.9million for Vlasic because it was them who agreed to that price back in the summer.
They could always choose to not trigger it at all and hope that they can renegotiate a deal once the loan expires but that would open up the possibility for any other side to swoop in and snatch him from under their noses.

There have to be some serious questions asked in Turin as to why they accepted the deal if they were not happy with the amount of money it would cost to sign him permanently.
It is still significantly less than West Ham paid for him 12 months prior to his share London Stadium exit but after a torrid first season in the Premier League, any kind of cash back would be hugely beneficial and welcomed.
He likes Turin and Torino like him so if they want a deal to happen, they’ll have to pay what they agreed to.
