Tony Cottee shares brilliant reaction after West Ham win v Lyon
Tony Cottee has shared a brilliant reaction on Twitter after West Ham secured a 3-0 win against Lyon on Thursday in the Europa League.
After the first leg ended 1-1, it needed a strong performance, and David Moyes’ side delivered on a big night in France.
Goals from Craig Dawson, Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen ensured the Hammers reach the semi-final stage for the first time in 46 years.

Cottee wrote on Twitter: “What a result and as I said earlier – We are massive. What a game, Frankfurt it is in the semi final!”
West Ham v Rangers final?
After a night like this, the Hammers fans can think big. And why not?
The Hammers will face Frankfurt in the next round after the German side defeated Barcelona 3-2 at the Nou Camp to win 4-3 on aggregate.
In the other game, Rangers came from behind to seal a dramatic 3-1 win and 3-2 on aggregate to reach the semi-finals for the first time in 14 years.
If they win their respective semi-final games, both the British clubs could meet each other in the final in Sevilla.
While the Hammers are doing extremely well in Europe, they must shift their attention to the Premier League quickly and aim to secure a top-six position.

The Hammers lost their previous league game 2-0 against Brentford and they can’t afford further slip-ups as we enter the business end of the season.
West Ham could lose their key players if they don’t secure a European spot next season, and putting hopes on the Europa League is certainly not a smart choice.
Having said that the emphatic victory over Lyon should give them enough confidence ahead of their league clash against Burnley this weekend.
In other West Ham news, Trevor Sinclair revelled in the “incredible” night in Lyon last night as the Hammers advanced to the semi-finals.
