Tony Cottee rages at West Ham United board after loss v Arsenal, ‘Absolute Shambles’
Tony Cottee has raged at the West Ham board following the convincing defeat against Arsenal on Sunday (11 February).
The pundit tweeted after the 6-0 loss that it was an “absolute shambles” as he claimed the club will “never change” with the current board at the London Stadium after there was “no investment” in the transfer window and David Moyes has just five months left on his contract.
He said the players, tactics and the result were “poor” against the Gunners as he questioned where the Irons “go from here”.
Disgraceful performance from West Ham against Arsenal
It was nothing short of a disgrace against Arsenal as Moyes got his tactics completely wrong and the players were well off the pace.
While the league position remains okay, the performances recently have left a lot to be desired, with some suggesting that the players are no longer playing for their manager.
There is absolutely no way that the Hammers should be losing 6-0 at home to anyone, particularly a side that we’ve already beaten twice this season.
It’s hard to imagine how the Scotsman can get the majority of the fans back onside now after many of them were already against him before this embarrassing defeat.
But the board also has to take some of the blame as everyone knew we needed a forward in the transfer window and we actually now find ourselves in a weaker position.
