Tim Steidten & David Moyes spotted together just before West Ham v B’mouth ahead of deadline

Tim Steidten and David Moyes were spotted in conversation pitchside ahead of the Premier League clash between West Ham and Bournemouth, hours before the transfer deadline.

The image was shared by West Ham news source Sean Whetstone via his X account, as he suggested Steidten was clearly not involved in any late transfer discussions.

Steidten’s presence not just at the London Stadium but pitchside ahead of the game is a surprise given the little time left in the transfer window, and with deals still waiting to be confirmed at West Ham.

No more deals looking likely

There are still a couple of outgoing moves expected before the window closes at the London Stadium, with Said Benrahma to Lyon yet to be confirmed, while Pablo Fornals remains in discussions ahead of a move to Real Betis.

Maxwel Cornet, meanwhile, has been linked with a deadline-day move to Crystal Palace, but his place on the Hammers’ bench against Bournemouth suggests he will be going nowhere before 11pm tonight.

West Ham’s technical director is often seen pitchside before the games kick off, usually in discussion with Moyes as he is again here, but on the transfer deadline day you would likely expect him to be involved in the business side and therefore away from the pitch.

We will see what unfolds with regard to West Ham transfers, with the focus this evening on possible outgoings, while speculation surrounding incoming deals seems to have cooled down recently.

In other West Ham news, Fornals was also spotted at the London Stadium.
