Teddy Sheringham raves about West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen
Premier League legend Teddy Sheringham has showered heaps of praise on West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen for his superb form.
Bowen has scored seven goals in as many games for the Hammers after his 10th-minute strike against Leicester City on Sunday [13 February] and also provided an assist.
His impressive form has led to many believing that he should now get international recognition, and Sheringham is the latest to join the list of admirers.

The former striker has suggested that Gareth Southgate must select him for the England squad, before adding he is an “exciting” player to watch.
“I think he’s in and around it, he’s full of confidence at the moment. He’s exciting, he’s full of verve and he’s ready to take on any opposition,” Sheringham told Genting Casino.
“You can see he’s excited about playing football and he’s at the top of his game, at the top level. When you look at the other players that are in and around the England squad that could be picked, not many are playing with the distinction that he is.
“I would put him in and give him a chance, ‘Show us what you can do at this level.’ I think it’s exciting. He’s not just a flash in the pan, he gets hold of the ball, uses his body well, takes people on, shoots, brings other people into the game. I think he’s got a bit of everything, I really like him.”
Top-class
Bowen has taken his game to a whole new level in the last four months, and David Moyes deserves a lot of credit for that.
He has delivered 20 goal contributions in 29 starts in all competitions this season, with 12 goals and eight assists.
No English player in the Premier League comes close to this imperious form, and it will be a massive disappointment if Bowen is not selected for the national team.
It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Bowen is driving the West Ham team at the moment for a top-four spot. The Hammers are also alive in the FA Cup thanks to a late goal from him.

With Michail Antonio struggling to score goals, it seems the onerous burden has fallen on Bowen.
West Ham failed to bolster their squad in January, and in the absence of another quality attacker, it seems at times, the Hammers are getting heavily reliant on Bowen to deliver.
