Super Computer makes West Ham Premier League relegation prediction after Chelsea loss

West Ham have been predicted to avoid relegation from the Premier League despite their recent 2-1 loss against Chelsea.

The Hammers have not started the season strongly and have registered just the solitary win thus far.

However, they have faced teams like Manchester City, Spurs and Chelsea so it has not been the easiest of starts for David Moyes’ men.

Safety first

FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers on their Super Computer and have predicted that the Hammers will safely finish mid-table.

They currently are in 18th place and face the very realistic threat of being sucked into a relegation battle.

However, if these numbers are anything to by, they will end up 11th with 48 points – not ideal, but certainly beats a bottom-five finish.

That is still unacceptable given how much the owners have spent this summer and for the first time, a realistic case can be made that Moyes has been backed.

Doubts could be creeping in that he may have taken the club as far as he could and West Ham fans will be hoping that his cycle has not come to an end.

Hopefully, they are not let down by VAR once again and we love how Karren Brady did not hold her punches while describing the farce against Chelsea.
