Summerville to undergo West Ham United medical in hours as Leeds United agree deal

Crysencio Summerville could jet out to the USA very soon to join up with the West Ham United squad on pre-season tour, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

The Sky Sports News journalist reported via his personal X account on Wednesday night (31 July) that the 22-year-old winger will undergo a medical to join the Irons in the next 24 hours.

It is understood that a deal has now been agreed between the Hammers and Leeds.

West Ham United on verge of transfer masterstroke after Leeds deal agreed.

Summerville was a class-act for Leeds in the Championship last season.

It’s undeniable that he’s the best player in the EFL after winning the player of the year award last term and, as with Jarrod Bowen, the Hammers will be hoping that he can make the move to the London Stadium and continue that rich vein of form.

Julen Lopetegui should be thrilled with the work that Steidten has done behind the scenes this summer because while there have been some setbacks, deals for Summerville, Luis Guilherme and Max Kilman should be heralded.

With Bowen on the right, Summerville on the left and Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta – potentially – in the side as well, the Irons will have an almighty strikeforce.

The only thing they need now is a centre-forward to spearhead an attack that will no doubt strike fear in to the hearts of even the best defences in the whole of Europe.
