Sullivan suddenly alarmed as West Ham finally sound out Lopetegui replacement
David Sullivan has turned to Edin Terzic as West Ham search for a potential replacement for under-pressure manager Julen Lopetegui, according to talkSPORT.
The former Wolves manager has won just three of his 11 Premier League games in charge of the Hammers and part-owner Sullivan is said to be alarmed by the poor run of form.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach, who was a striker in his playing days, is understood to be under consideration if Lopetegui cannot turn the Irons fortunes around.
Julen Lopetegui deserves more time at West Ham
The Spaniard is already under heavy pressure at the London Stadium after a poor start to the season.
The Hammers sit 14th in the Premier League table, five points above the relegation zone after a run of just two victories in their last six matches.
Lopetegui has been given 10 days to improve results according to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg [20 November] with home fixtures against Newcastle and Arsenal coming up, in a decision that Paul Merson labelled as “delusional”.

It is hard to envision the Irons getting three points in either game because Newcastle come into the contest on a three-game winning streak and Arsenal will be determined to not lose any more ground in the title race.
The hope was that Lopetegui could lead the club back into the race for Europe after a transfer window where they signed several high-profile players but it does not look like he will get the chance.
The club should give the manager more time, however, it is unlikely that he will still be in the Irons dugout come December.
