Stuart Pearce blown away by Tomas Soucek & Vladimir Coufal at EUROs
Stuart Pearce was left blown away by West Ham United duo Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal at the EUROs on Sunday.
The Irons pair played vital roles as the Czech Republic beat strong favourites Holland 2-0 to progress to the quarter-finals.
Pearce admitted he was proud of both players, and backed them to spring some more surprises in the tournament.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Pearce was blown away by the Hammers duo as they sealed a historic win at the EUROs.
“I’m very, very proud of them,” he said.
“They epitomise the Czechs, they’re hard-working, humble, good professionals and they slog away no matter what goes on.”

Proud.
Wow, what a moment it was yesterday watching two of our most-loved players smash Holland after they went down to 10-men.
Coufal and Soucek once again played vital roles, and we loved getting behind them on the biggest of stages.
With Denmark up next in the quarter-finals, there is still the possibility of them once again meeting England, but this time in the semi-finals.
We will be supporting both until that moment, but it would be crazy to see three of our, with Declan Rice, battling it out at Wembley for a spot in the final.
Germany are still in the way of the Three Lions tomorrow, though, and Pearce will no doubt be watching that game closely too.
We’re proud of all of our boys shining at the EUROs, and it could lead to a massive shootdown at Wembley next week.
