Spotted: Violence breaks out in Prague as Fiorentina fans allegedly in ‘completely unprovoked’ attack on West Ham United supporters
West Ham United fans have reportedly been attacked by Fiorentina fans in Prague ahead of Wednesday night’s Europa Conference League final.
Alfie Mulligan shared footage on his Twitter account of Italian football supporters throwing chairs into a bar that he – as well as pensioners and children – was in.
You can watch the video footage here.

Mulligan, who is a journalist for Salford Now, added some detail on Twitter on 7 June, saying: “Just been stood in a lovely bar in Prague. 50+ Fiorentina fans come round the corner shooting fireworks, armed with batons… but looks like a war hospital.
“Completely unprovoked. Children in the bar. I got hit by a chair. This isn’t what the final was about.
“Pensioners being taken to hospital. Shambolic scenes from the Fiorentina support. I’ve never been so scared in my life.
“Italian ultras … more like cowards… Completely unprovoked. Be careful.”
Shocking
For those of you out in Prague, keep your wits about you and ensure that you stay in a group because the last thing we want is for anyone to be hospitalised by these thugs.
West Ham fans are yet again being attacked by European football fans.
It’s sadly not the first time this has happened this season after the ugly scenes in Alkmaar. Unfortunately, it’s likely to be the last time too if the Irons are to remain in European football next season.
West Ham fans who are out in the Czech Republic should try not get involved in anything like this but UEFA really need to get involved.

How many times are people going to be put in hospital or be made to fear going to a football match?
It’s their competition and the behaviour of certain groups of supporters is diabolical.
It’s just football at the end of the day.
