Sofyan Amrabat Premier League move not ‘ruled out’ as West Ham United interest emerges
Sofyan Amrabat making a move to a Premier League side cannot be “ruled out” as West Ham eye the Morocco star, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
It’s believed the 26-year-old is eager to move to Spain and tried to force a move to Barcelona in the January window (Tuttomercatoweb, 19 June).
However, with the Catalan giants unwilling to go above Fiorentina’s £25million valuation, a move to England could still be on the cards, with the Hammers and Nottingham Forest both interested.

It’s believed he could well be viewed as a replacement for Declan Rice.
Exceptional
The 26-year-old would be an excellent replacement for Rice. We saw in the Europa Conference League final just how dominant Amrabat can be.
If we are being honest, he was a match for Rice in the middle of the park and probably looked the better player in the final. With a significant sum set to arrive when Rice eventually departs, the board could have a fair bit of money to play with.

Whether the Moroccon is an attainable target remains to be seen. He seems intent on moving to Spain and joining a team playing Champions League football. Once again, it’s a case of signing players who are eager to play in the claret and blue shirt.
Over the years, big-money signings haven’t always worked out for West Ham. Gianluca Scamacca and Maxwel Cornet are the latest names to be added to the list.
With a new director of football potentially arriving – it’s essential for the board to make sensible decisions during the off-season. Looking for value has to be the route to go down.
