Sky Sports shares latest on Jesse Lingard future amid West Ham talk

Jesse Lingard is still in the plans of Manchester United despite strong links to West Ham United.

Sky Sports have shared that any offers that are received before tomorrow’s deadline will be discussed with the attacker, though.

This comes after David Moyes made one last effort to convince Lingard to rejoin the Irons in a meeting yesterday [Claret and Hugh].

Sky Sports shared the latest on their live transfer blog this morning, insisting chances are very limited at Old Trafford.

“Jesse Lingard remains part of Manchester United’s plans for the moment,” they wrote.

“Any concrete offers that come in will be discussed with the player and a collective decision will be made.

“Lingard may find first-team opportunities increasingly limited at United this season.”

Get it done.

Lingard is surely wanting a move that will guarantee him minutes, and West Ham is the place where he will get that.

Moyes hopefully handed some promises to the England international last night, and after finishing the Red Devils’ win over Wolves on the bench, it must be tempted.

With Nikola Vlasic closing in on a major move to the London Stadium, Lingard arriving too would make it an incredible end to the window.

The playmaker is in the plans of his club, but any offers will be discussed meaning the door is wide open.

Now it is time for the Irons to take advantage of that.
