Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol shares update on West Ham United manager David Moyes
West Ham manager David Moyes is along with Manchester United and Real Madrid bosses Erik ten Hag and Carlo Ancelotti respectively in Switzerland.
According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, UEFA is conducting an Elite Club Coaches Forum to discuss the number of issues in the game.
The topics of discussion range from refereeing to VAR and include play behaviour and the ramifications of it on the sport.
Via Twitter, Solhekol wrote, “Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag in Switzerland for UEFA Elite Club Coaches Forum. Ancelotti, Spalletti, Galtier, Tuchel, Moyes etc all there. Discussed refereeing, VAR and player behaviour.”
Changes needed
We’re hoping that Moyes and the other head coaches drive their point home to UEFA because the refereeing has been atrocious in Europe.

Despite the introduction of VAR, certain calls still continue to be made that seem absolute shockers and there is no consistency.
Referees need this more than the managers and they need to be told to follow the rules better and not end up trying to make a big deal of accidental handballs.
Moyes does appear to be fully backed as things stand by the West Ham board but he is walking on thin ice at the London Stadium.
Results have been far from impressive and amid hopes of a top seven finish for the third straight season, they are at the wrong end of the table.
It remains to be seen if sacking him would change things but we believe that he has enough credit in the bank to be handed a few more months to right his wrongs.
