Sky Sports expert predicts result of West Ham v Leicester
West Ham face Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City away from home on Sunday (13 February) and Sky Sports expert Lewis Jones feels it’s difficult to pick a winner from this fixture.
The Foxes are struggling badly in the league. They have lost four games in a row in all competitions, including three in the Premier League.
They are heading into this match on the back of a 2-0 defeat against Liverpool, and Jones predicted a 2-2 draw while previewing the clash in his Sky Sports column.

Jones wrote: “My eyes have flirted with the total match shots market in what is likely to be a game full of chances and attacking intent.
“Leicester have faced 16.8 shots per game in the Premier League this season – the most in the division. They have also faced the most overall shots (348) despite only Burnley having played fewer games.
“West Ham have also faced a lot of shots on their goal over the past month. The Hammers do defend deeper than most top-ranked teams, so opposition teams do find territory easy to come by.
“David Moyes’ men have faced a whopping 14.8 shots per 90 minutes in their last nine Premier League fixtures. If you collate both of those averages together you are looking at a total of around 30 shots.”
Top-four hopes
This is a massive game for the Hammers and they cannot afford to drop points.
They are currently fourth in the league table, but other potential top-four rivals can leapfrog them, as they have played at least a game less.
Leicester are struggling at the moment, and while they will be looking to bounce back, this is probably the best time to face them.

West Ham haven’t played well in recent games but they are still in the hunt for that elusive Champions League spot.
They are heading into this game on the back of a 1-0 win against Watford, and Moyes is hopeful that the performance will improve in the coming weeks.
The Hammers are getting reliant on Jarrod Bowen who is enjoying a phenomenal campaign. He is almost single-handedly carrying the team forward, and it’s time other attacking players step up as well.
In other Hammers news, Moyes urges West Ham to learn from Leicester City’s success.
