Simon Jordan: David Gold & Sullivan could sell West Ham United fully in 2023
Simon Jordan has insisted that 2023 may finally be the year that David Gold and Sullivan fully sell West Ham United.

Speaking on the latest episode of One 2 One on talkSPORT’s YouTube channel, Jordan made his big prediction for the future.
“Here comes the part where I talk about what I mean with the ownership model,” he said. “This year is probably the potential year where we go into [20]23, where David Gold and David Sullivan may factor in the thinking of selling this football club.
“They’ve already got a new investor in, he’s put £150million into the club to own a significant proportion and I think he’ll end up owning the club. If his ambition, with this kind of level of input, financial, £150million for 20% for West Ham to stand still, I doubt it.
“I think the ownership model is going to be a key component as to whether they kick on, supplement the squad and perhaps meet David Moyes’ expectations.”

Finally?
This has been long in the picture, with stories coming on and off regarding Gold and Sullivan selling the club.
Bringing in Kretinsky as an investor was the first major step behind leaving the Irons behind, and he is clearly here to eventually take over.
The Czech investor has come in at the perfect time, with success really on the up at the London Stadium.
Could this success in Europe change the minds of Gold and Sullivan though? There is more money to be made right now and that is their language.
As long as they continually pump money into this squad to keep up this success, then there would be no complaints with these working together for the foreseeable future.
It all depends on whether there is a deadline in the deal with Krentinsky to come in as an investor, as it may happen automatically after a certain period.
The next year is going to be critical, let’s see what happens.
