Simon Jordan destroys David Sullivan after Jim White question on West Ham and Kurt Zouma

Simon Jordan has taken aim at David Sullivan during the Kurt Zouma controversy surrounding West Ham United.

The Frenchman is still available for selection despite the footage of him abusing his cats over the weekend.

Jordan labelled Sullivan an “ostrich” for hiding behind David Moyes and allowing him to be selected for all games.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning, the host kickstarted the conversation on the matter.

“The fallout goes on,” he said. “The fallout to the Kurt Zouma animal abuse continues. Why haven’t West ham followed the lead of Dagenham and Redbridge and suspended his brother, Kurt?”

Jordan hit immediately back and took aim at the co-owner for his role as the saga continues to play out at the London Stadium.

“Becuase the leadership at the top of West Ham are ostriches, they’ve made the wrong call,” he said.

“You know my views on it, I don’t want to upsize anymore the controversy in it, I want to focus on the subject matter at hand, he’s brought himself and the club into disrepute.

“The reason he is being played is because David Sullivan has made an extremely poor decision on the basis of allowing David Moyes, or hiding behind David Moyes and not being a standard-bearer.”

Ostrich?

Moyes has been left at the front of this and has been thrown to the wolves in many respects with no one else coming out to say anything.

Zouma has been made available by the club, so why wouldn’t the manager use one of his better players? It is a lose-lose situation in many cases.

Some believe that Moyes will not have problem with the footage that has surfaced, but that couldn’t be further from the truth, he is just making a footballing decision.

No one agrees with this, but Sullivan and David Gold have not made a decision, when they possibly should have done as soon as this footage emerged.

They didn’t, and now it looks as though Zouma will play once again this weekend as we take on Leicester City.
