Said Benrahma moves out of Essex home, West Ham United wait to green-light London Stadium exit
West Ham United winger Said Benrahma has moved out of his Essex home with the Irons waiting to green-light his transfer exit, according to Claret and Hugh.
The outlet reported on its website on Wednesday (24 January) that the Algerian winger has left his home which has sparked speculation that he is likely to leave the London Stadium during the January transfer window.
Benrahma’s poor form has in itself meant that the Irons would find a way to sell him if a deal could be reached this month and the incoming arrival of Ibrahim Osman may be enough to green-light his exit.
Should that deal be completed and finalised, West Ham then may give the nod to allow the Algerian international to complete his move away from East London on a permanent basis before the end of the January window.
Get him gone
It has been clear for some time now that Benrahma has not been at the level required to play regularly in David Moyes’ side at the London Stadium and it will be best for all parties if the Algerian winger moves on this month.
With the arrival of Mohammed Kudus in the summer, Benrahma slipped even further down the Irons pecking order and with a move for Osman moving even closer, he is unlikely to be rewarded with more game time in the second half of the campaign.

A permanent deal will be the best for all parties, otherwise, West Ham will face the exact same problem of having to find a new suitor for the wide-man come the end of the season. If he can be sold this month, both parties can wash their hands of the deal.
Hopefully, Osman’s arrival will be completed without any late problems or last-minute changes of heart and then Myes can focus his entire resources on finding a move for Benrahma.
