Ruben Loftus-Cheek to West Ham not happening

West Ham United have decided against signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on deadline day.

ExWHUemployee has shared the update after it was reported that the Irons had made enquiries for the England international.

With loan and agent fees, plus wages, it was said to cost over £10million in order to sign the midfielder for the season.

Writing on his Patreon, ExWHUemployee shared the latest on the Loftus-Cheek pursuit as the Irons push for more additions.

“I have just been told that the move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan will not happen following enquiries.

“The deal with loan fee, agents fee and wages thrown in is set to be over £10m and the club cannot afford this.”

Smart.

David Moyes and his team have been smart regarding their business.

Bringing in Nikola Vlasic and Kurt Zouma as the two big-money deals should allow for another loan switch, but they won’t be made fools of.

Paying over £10million to our rivals, who are desperate for funds to sign the likes of Jules Kounde would be simply embarrassing.

Loftus-Cheek would be nothing more than a rotation option to add to our squad depth for the added pressure of the Europa League.

Hopefully, other targets can emerge who are much cheaper, or both the Irons and Chelsea will be wasting their time today.
