Roy Keane not having what’s said about West Ham as Burnley prediction made
Roy Keane was clearly not won over by West Ham’s victory over Newcastle United as he made his prediction for the Burnley game.
West Ham beat Newcastle 2-1 at the London Stadium, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s first win in charge has given supporters hope that they can avoid relegation.
They take on a Burnley side managed by former West Ham midfielder Scott Parker, and the Clarets have already shown their mettle on the road.
Keane has already criticised West Ham’s recruitment this season, and when making a prediction for Saturday’s clash, he pulled no punches when speaking about their chances in the match.

Roy Keane not impressed by West Ham’s chances vs Burnley
West Ham’s performance against the Magpies was much improved from anything we’ve seen this season, and they’ve now moved up to 18th in the table.
Whilst appearing on the Stick to Football podcast on 6 November, Jill Scott claimed that West Ham will gain some momentum from the Newcastle result, which Keane quickly brushed away.
He said: “Don’t be fooled by that.”
Keane went on to predict a draw and jokingly added on the Newcastle win: “It’s their first win in six months.”

Whilst they have secured wins away from home in 2025, the Hammers hadn’t won a home game since 27 February.
West Ham’s brilliant record against Burnley is a positive omen for Nuno, who finally managed to get a response out of his players after several lacklustre performances.
West Ham are embroiled in a relegation battle, and should they claim all three points, they could potentially move above their 17th-placed opponents on goal difference.
West Ham are expected to be beat Burnley. However, a win on Saturday is much easier said than done.

Burnley’s resilience will prove to be tricky for West Ham
Having secured wins over Leeds, Sunderland and Wolves, Parker’s side are gaining their points over the teams that were expected to be at the bottom of the table.
The Clarets have also played five of the traditional ‘big six’, and their points tally of ten is hugely respectable given their horrible run of fixtures.
The last-minute win at Molineux has given Burnley hope that they can secure wins away from home, and the London Stadium is hardly a ground that will strike fear into their players.
West Ham will have to be at the top of their game, and should they drop points on Saturday, fears over their Premier League status would undoubtedly increase.
