Rodney Marsh sends strong message to West Ham board
Former England forward Rodney Marsh has sent a bold message to West Ham owners, insisting the time is here to show their true qualities.
David Moyes has done an excellent job at the London club in the last two seasons. From facing relegation, the Hammers are now challenging for European positions yet again.
Marsh wants to see the Hammers board taking a proactive role and hand Moyes a lumpsum transfer kitty to make quality additions in the summer.

The former Manchester City player wrote on Twitter: “The time is now. West Ham have never been better positioned. Owners have to decide, are they plucky little triers or reach for the big time?”
Big summer
The Hammers are also currently in the quarter-finals of the Europa League where they will face Lyon to book a place in the last four.
While booking a place in the top-four looks tougher at the moment, the Hammers must aim to push for the top six.
The summer transfer window will be massive for the club. With new shareholder Daniel Kretinsky on board, surely Moyes must be backed in the market to bring in players of his own choice.

On top of that, the Hammers must show ambition by keeping hold of the star players like Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen, both being targeted by several heavyweight clubs.
If the Hammers fail to strengthen their squad in the true sense, it will become a tough ask for Moyes to take the club forward. Marsh is spot on here – the owner must show their desire.
Signing a striker, a full-back, a centre-back, a solid midfielder and an attacking midfield should be a top priority for Moyes.
