Rio Ferdinand thinks West Ham could clinch Champions League football
Rio Ferdinand has hailed Jarrod Bowen and believes ‘resilient’ West Ham might be the team to clinch the last Champions League spot.
Not for the first time this season, the former Manchester United star compared Bowen’s form this season to that of Mohammed Salah.
The 43-year-old claimed the England tipped attacker is going under the radar at the London stadium this season.

“I think Moyes has brought a different side to West Ham, they’re resilient.” Ferdinand said on Vibe with FIVE.
“They could be the ones that get there (top four), man, I’m telling you.
“Talking about West Ham, by the way, Bowen, he has been going under the radar, under the radar by the way. 12 goals and nine assists in all competitions this season.
“There is only one man with more Premier League goals and assists than Bowen this season and that’s Mohamed Salah. Wow.”

Late to the party
No one knows what Ferdinand has been watching all season, but sensational Bowen is hardly flying under the radar in east London or anywhere for that matter.
Admittedly he has burst onto the scene more this season so the winger had some proving to do before everybody could give him the full praise the West Ham fans know he deserves but by this point everyone knows what he is about.
The attacker has been in the form of his life which is why Gareth Southgate and England have been so hotly debated for the former Hull City man this season and he should be tested before the 2022 World Cup.
He might be an unglamorous Irons player but that doesn’t change the fact he has the best-attacking output of any of the English forwards this season.
Who knows, Bowen might have led the Hammers to the Champions League by then and that might boost his chances of selection – stupidly.
