Rhian Brewster in Sheffield United squad v West Ham United as early team news emerges
Rhian Brewster is in the Sheffield United squad after months on the sidelines as they face West Ham at the London Stadium on 30 September, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist shared the news via his Patreon on 29 September, where he reported that Brewster is keen to return and help the fight against survival this season.
The striker managed just one goal in 16 appearances in Sheffield United’s promotion campaign last time out, before suffering a hamstring injury which has kept him out since October 2022 [Transfermarkt].
A dangerous opponent
Paul Heckingbottom will be boosted by this news, with a healthy amount of attacking talent now at his disposal as Brewster could join Cameron Archer to create a dangerous front line that will look to test the Hammers’ defensive resolve.
The Premier League clash this weekend should see a fairly routine victory for the Hammers after their opponents were demolished 8-0 by Newcastle last time out, but football is never quite as simple as that and David Moyes’ side will need to stay switched on.
