Report: West Ham looking to add three on deadline day

West Ham United – having been relatively quiet for much of this month – have burst spectacularly into life in the past few days.

First there was the signing of midfielder Tomas Soucek from Slavia Prague on a loan-to-buy deal earlier this week.

And now it appears that the Hammers are set to secure a frantic deadline-day flurry of new recruits.

Football Insider reported on Friday that the east London outfit are looking to bring in three new signings on the last day of the window.

The club are thought to be on the verge of securing the signing of exciting Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen after gazumping Premier League rivals Crystal Palace on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Irons are also looking to seal deals for a new right-back and centre forward before the window shuts.

Bids are said to be in for a number of right backs, while manager David Moyes wants a traditional striker to help Bowen out, as well.

Could the Hammers really bring in three new recruits on deadline day?

You would’ve thought it was likely a long-shot that they get all three positions filled, but you never know.

Bowen is the big one, of course, and if they can get that done it will be a big boost for the Irons. A new right back and striker would be nice though, naturally.

Time is running out as we speak, so it’s tough to say yes they’ll get all three done, but two would be nice.

In other West Ham news, the club have reportedly identified a Premier League striker they could sign on deadline day.
