Report – West Ham 28y/o provides Moyes with major injury boost
Jack Wilshere has returned to light training for West Ham in a boost to the club’s Premier League survival hopes, according to Football Insider.
The 28-year-old has struggled with injuries since mid-October, and underwent surgery on a hernia last month.
But it is understood that the midfielder is now back to outdoor work has he looks to step up his comeback efforts.

Despite his progress, however, the report also states that it could still be a month before Wilshere is deemed fit enough to return to first team action.
How much of a boost would this be for West Ham?
If we’re being entirely truthful, it’s difficult to say.
On the one hand, David Moyes would surely welcome any kind of personnel boost in the closing stages of his side’s battle against relegation, and an extra midfielder would be a huge help given the recent injury to Tomas Soucek.
That being said, we all know how badly Wilshere has struggled since he arrived in east London, and it’s hard to see how he could suddenly turn that form around in the coming weeks.
So far this season, the 28-year-old has completed just 463 successful actions over 520 minutes of football, and has managed just six shots on target, as per Wyscout.
Sure, his pass completion rate has been in excess of 90%, but the reality of the situation is that he is far too anonymous, far too often, and that will have to change if he is to make an impact on his return to top flight action.
