Reliable source claims key West Ham first teamer could return v Leicester in midweek
West Ham playmaker Felipe Anderson could make his return to the side against Leicester City on Wednesday night, according to ExWHUemployee.
The Brazilian missed out on Saturday’s clash with Everton due to a back injury that he picked up in the Hammers’ last Premier League outing against Sheffield United, as per Football.London.
But Ex believes that he could be back sooner rather than later.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, when asked of the midweek clash with the Foxes could be Anderson’s return date, he replied: “Could be”.

How important is Anderson to this West Ham side?
When he’s on song, very.
The Brazilian is a dazzling talent on his day, but he has really struggled with consistency for much of this season.
For every display like the one he put in against Wolves in December, when he registered a Whoscored rating of 8.29, there’s been another one like his horror show against Burnley, where managed a rating of just 5.83.
That discrepancy is huge, and really goes a long way to explaining just how frustrating he can be.
When he gets it right though, he can be scintillating, and he looks to have benefitted greatly from David Moyes’ decision to give him more free reign in behind Sebastien Haller.
Hopefully that can continue against the Foxes in midweek, because the Irons have a daunting run of fixtures ahead of them, and they will need all the firepower they can muster.
