Reliable journalist shares the West Ham players guaranteed to start v Wolves

West Ham United begin their race to remain in the Premier League this season with Wolves coming to the London Stadium on Saturday.

The Hammers have prepared for the restart with two friendlies against Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace, winning both.

It’s great preparation, although the competition will start to pick up in the next couple of weeks with Spurs and Chelsea to face after Wolves.

Football London journalist Sam Inkersole has detailed how the Hammers starting squad should look when they welcome Wolves.

Inkersole has confirmed that Lukasz Fabianski will definitely start in goal, with the break giving him time to shake off his recurring injury.

After that, Arron Cresswell, Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna (if fully fit) will occupy the back four for David Moyes.

Declan Rice, Mark Noble and Tomas Soucek will play in midfield, with only one guaranteed starter in the final third – Jarrod Bowen.

So, with those seven spots filled, Moyes will need to fill two spots up top, as well as the right-back position.

We expect Ryan Fredericks, Felipe Anderson, then one of Michail Antonio and Sebastien Haller to fill the last void upfront.

There will be a lot of pressure on whoever starts, with West Ham only outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.

Antonio has proved himself to be more reliable at times this season, but the goals of Haller could be vital to surviving.
