Real Madrid star Rodrygo sends Lucas Paqueta message after magic moment West Ham United moment v Anderlecht
Real Madrid star Rodygo has sent Lucas Paqueta a message on Instagram after the Brazilian’s magical touch in West Ham United’s win over Anderlecht.
The 25-year-old displayed a moment of quality as he control the ball with his back foot whilst under no pressure in the second half of the Hammers’ 1-0 win in Belgium.
Paqueta took to Instagram [6 October] after the game and posted a picture of his control and as a result, he was sent a message by Madrid star Rodrygo.
The Champions League winner wrote “good people” in response to the photo. Paqueta’s other Brazil teammate Bruno Guimaraes also sent the midfielder a message saying “partner”.

It felt as if last night was the first time that we have all come to realise the talent we have on our hands when it comes to Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca. The start to the season has been far from ideal, but when these summer additions get going, this team could hit heights that it has never hit before.
Paqueta’s quality on the ball, creativity and flare makes him a player that has been rarely seen at the London Stadium in recent years. Jarrod Bowen has been superb over the past couple of seasons, but his strengths lie in his finishing ability and directness.
The Brazilian could well be the missing link to unlock stubborn defences and really turn the Irons into a team that can be more patient on the ball. A change of style was always needed for David Moyes this season.
It would’ve been criminal for the Scot to sign the likes of Scamacca and Paqueta and not utilise a more possession-based system that suits their strengths far better that the counterattacking style that he has deployed in recent years.
The pair combined well yesterday and could be a key combination for West Ham moving forward.
