Real Madrid ace Vinicius Jr reacts to Lucas Paqueta post amid West Ham United exit speculation
Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr reacted to Lucas Paqueta’s Instagram post after rumours emerged he could be heading out the West Ham United exit door.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, [26 February] Newcastle and Arsenal are reportedly willing to spend around £62million in order to sign the Brazilian international with the report stating that the price could be prohibitive for some Premier League clubs but not the Champions League-bound duo.
With the Hammers currently in a relegation dogfight, there is a possibility that the club could lose some of their prized assets including Paqueta.

And following the club’s 4-1 Europa Conference League quarter-final win over Gent on Thursday [20 April], the former Lyon maestro took to his Instagram account to express his joy at the result to which Vinicius Jr responded [21 April] with some laughing emojis.
Match his ambition
Could Vinicius Jr be laughing at the fact that while he’s on his way to a Champions League semi-final date with Manchester City, Paqueta is only celebrating a meagre Conference League win? Knowing the Real Madrid star’s jolly character that may well be a comical possibility.
Whatever the reason, Paqueta seems to be enjoying himself in a West Ham United shirt as his recent Instagram post suggests but that joy may well be short-lived if the club suffer relegation at the end of the season.

However, given their upturn in form over the last few games, Premier League safety looks like a distinct possibility and the only way Paqueta leaves West Ham in the summer is if a club tables an offer that ensures they make a significant profit.
With key man Declan Rice likely heading towards the London Stadium exit door, there’s no chance they will let two of their best players leave the club as it will leave a gaping hole in the squad.
Rice and Paqueta are arguably the Hammers’ best two players right now and the fans would be absolutely livid to see both of them leave, let alone just one of them. However, if the club are to keep Paqueta for the long haul, they have to match his ambitions and potentially playing European football next season is a huge step in doing that.
The Brazilian doesn’t want to remain jealous about his Brazilian teammate mixing it amongst the best on the continent. He wants to be there too.
