Pundit shares Declan Rice prediction as Pep Guardiola ‘comes calling’ for West Ham United ace
Adebayo Akinfenwa has shared a Declan Rice prediction live on talkSPORT amid the latest West Ham transfer development.
The Hammers captain is closing in on a move to Manchester City, according to Gianluca Di Marzio (22 June).
And pundit Akinfenwa believes that the midfielder’s head will be swayed by the opportunity to play under manager Pep Guardiola.

“Man City look like they’ve come out of nowhere,” Akinfenwa said live on talkSPORT. “Of course they would have been monitoring the situation, the only thing now is that Arsenal have allowed Man City to come into that.
“Even though Rice is a London boy, when Pep comes calling and they’ve just won the treble, that is going to sway anybody’s head.”

Big decision
Unfortunately for Arsenal, it seems that they have a real battle on their hands when it comes to their pursuit of West Ham ace Rice.
The Gunners were perhaps expecting a battle for the player this summer, but maybe they didn’t quite expect Manchester City to enter the proceedings in this manner.
It will give Arsenal fans a real haunting flashback, with their club having only just thrown the Premier League title away to the Manchester outfit.
Nothing is certain with the Rice transfer, but the North London side may now have thrown away the chance to sign the England international, with their rivals now looking like swooping in once more.
It is definitely a big decision for the Hammers skipper, who seems to have the choice between playing under Guardiola but having to fight for a starting role at the Etihad, and walking straight into Arsenal’s midfield under Mikel Arteta.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have rescued a 50:50 deal for a new hire, with an agreement close to completion.
