PSV unwilling to shell out £10m for West Ham target and Liverpool defender Nat Phillips
PSV are reportedly unwilling to shell out £10m for West Ham target and Liverpool defender Nat Phillips in the January transfer window.
According to Dutch media outlet ED, they’re open to doing a loan move, but the Reds are keen on a sale.
It appears that the 24-year-old is destined for a Premier League club with the Hammers and Watford among the suitors.

Snap him up
Phillips is a quality centre-back with a decent amount of Premier League experience under his belt.
Liverpool are open to selling him and the Hammers must snap him up as he’s only going to get better in the future.
With Angelo Ogbonna’s season-ending injury, they desperately need to sign centre-back and Phillips is not overly expensive either.
He’s a good passer and strong in the air and would slot in perfectly into the Irons squad.

Kurt Zouma may find a long-term partner in him and the two could spearhead the Hammers defence for the better part of next decade.
Whether or not the club are willing to make that move in January, remains to be seen.
David Moyes is believed to have given Rob Newman his priority list and whether or not Phillips is high up on it is anyone’s guess but he’s believed to be liked by the manager.
