White added that the 49-year-old would have to decide if he wants to take the reins at West Ham or Wolves “sooner than later”.
“Potter, we understand, has been sounded out by both Wolves and West Ham”, he said.

White revealing that both the Irons and Wolves are interested in hiring Potter as their new boss is huge as they face each other in the Premier League on Monday [9 December].
Julen Lopetegui is facing an uncertain future at the London Stadium [The Athletic] after losing 3-1 to Leicester City on Tuesday [3 December], while Gary O’Neil is in a similar situation at Molineux following Everton’s 4-0 drubbing of the Wanderers on Wednesday [4 December].
Speaking on talkSPORT [4 December], Darren Bent suggested that Potter would be a great fit for the Irons, considering the players have at their disposal and it appears the hierarchy agree.

One would imagine the Hammers job would be more attractive to the former Chelsea boss than Wolves as they are evidently a bigger club.
The Fosun ownership’s persistence on a self-sustainable model at Molineux could also work in the East London outfit’s favour.
However, it remains to be seen what Potter ultimately decides to do.
