Porto make late-approach for big-money West Ham ace – report
Porto have made a last-ditch approach for West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson in this window.
It is reported by talkSPORT that the Portuguese giants are interested in bringing in the Brazilian in a season-long loan deal.
After the loan deal, it is suggested that Porto could include an option to buy Anderson if the deal was concluded on Monday.
Anderson only arrived at the London Stadium two years ago from Lazio.
The South American signed a four-year deal at the club after the Irons splashed out £36million to break their club-record at that time.
David Moyes is said to be willing to let Anderson leave the club after he made little impact at the beginning of the Premier League season.
Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals are ahead of Anderson as it stands, and have started the season in great form and continued that against Leicester on Sunday.
The 27-year-old has only come off the bench twice in the Premier League this season, completing two minutes of action.
Anderson has only featured in the Carabao Cup against Hull, Charlton and Everton – scoring once in those three outings.
Moyes has clearly not seen enough from the Brazilian in those outings, and it is clear that he would not massively be missed.
If the Irons can guarantee a similar fee to the £36million they forked out in this deal, then they would be laughing based on what we have seen this season.
