Phil Foden reacts to what Jarrod Bowen did to Arsenal
Jarrod Bowen has recieved recognition from Phil Foden and Kurt Zouma after West Ham beat Arsenal 1-0 in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
The Hammers earned themselves a much-needed three points at the Emirates on 23 February despite only having two shots on target throughout the game.
Bowen was the hero once again as he managed to bag the winning goal with a fine header.
Indeed, things were made easier when Myles Lewis Skelly was sent off for a challenge on Mohammed Kudus but that shouldn’t take away from the impressive performance that Graham Potter’s men put in.
Although the entire team deserves their flowers, Bowen is the one who has been praised by both Foden and Zouma.
Foden and Zouma hail Bowen
The Manchester City attacker reacted to a post from England teammate Bowen after their win.
The Hammers captain took to Instagram in a post that simply had two pictures of his celebration with no caption added to it.
Foden liked the post while Zouma commented saying: “Captain” with a heart and a fire emoji.

Bowen can reach new heights with West Ham and Graham Potter
It’s now undeniable that Bowen is the Hammers’ best player. When the Englishman was out injured due to a fractured foot, it was evident how much West Ham missed him.
His creative nature alongside his keen eye for goal make him one of the most important players on Potter’s team at the moment.
Potter has only won two games since he was appointed but with Bowen now back to full fitness and seemingly ready and raring to go, this could end up being a turning point in their season.
Of course, European football now seems out of the question but if they can go into the 2025/26 season with a few wins under their belt, it could give them the motivation they need to prosper.
There are still plenty of games left in the 2024/25 season for the Hammers to make their way back up the table but with the way that things have panned out for them already this term, they’ll likely just be hoping that their captain can stay fit for the foreseeable future.
