Perry Groves shares West Ham sack verdict on David Moyes live on talkSPORT
Perry Groves has suggested on talkSPORT that he would give David Moyes until the end of the season to turn things around at West Ham.
The TalkSPORT host has also slammed Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal for their poor performances against Arsenal, and he thinks they are not as influential as they were when they first arrived.
Moyes is under tremendous pressure at the moment after the Hammers lost four games in a row in the Premier League.

“No, I would wait until the end of the season,” said Groves on TalkSPORT about Moyes’ future, when asked whether Moyes should be replaced.
“I think he’s got enough in the bank where obviously it stops himself from getting relegated. They come sixth, seventh, and got a great run in the Conference League. So the frustration is with the amount of money – I think they spent £150m in the summer transfer window.”
“On Monday, when I saw Soucek and Coufal, they looked like someone like they’re running on quicksand. They look nowhere influential as what they were when they first came into the side.”
Problems
There’s no doubt that the Hammers have underachieved this season, but the league table doesn’t lie.
Moyes has really struggled to embed his new players, although he didn’t get the services of Nayef Aguerd and Maxwell Cornet through injuries.
Big-money signings Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca have struggled to make an impact. The Hammers look disjointed on the pitch, and they lack the creative spark in the middle.

However, what has been really frustrating is that some of the senior players at the club have largely underperformed.
Soucek has been performing below expectations since last season, and Coufal’s decline has been fairly noticeable.
Coufal has made eight starts in the Premier League this season, and his future has been widely speculated.
The midfield is one area Moyes probably could look to bolster in January. Soucek is yet to sign a new contract at the club, and doubts remain over his long-term future as well.
