PAI Capital tell the Sunday Times they have submitted a second offer for West Ham

PAI Capital have informed the Sunday Times that they have submitted a second offer to buy West Ham.

The group confirmed on their Twitter recently that they were going to submit a new offer for the Hammers, and it appears as if they have done so as they look to end David Gold and David Sullivan’s reign.

The first offer from this consortium was rejected, but it appears as if they are back with a new offer, and it remains to be seen what West Ham’s response is.

PAI’s spokesperson said: “PAI Capital has assembled a top-tier team of respected executives … the group has carefully prepared and submitted a second innovative bid which it believes will be successful and crafts a new vision for the club, stadium and park …We hope to be able to share positive news very soon.”

PAI Capital not giving up.

The group have been very open about their interest in buying the Hammers, and they have enlisted the help of many former Irons players as they look to complete a deal.

Gold and Sullivan, though, have proven to be difficult to deal with, and there were suggestions that they wouldn’t even sell the Hammers to PAI.

So, it will be interesting to see what happens now.

PAI Capital appear determined to buy the Irons and have put Gold and Sullivan under a lot of public pressure.

However, as of yet, the board haven’t crumbled and seem intent on keeping the Irons for themselves.

This takeover saga is set to drag on, and we can’t predict what will happen next.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers won’t meet Declan Rice’s contract demands.
