PAI Capital have released their statement about the West Ham takeover
PAI Capital have released their statement about their plans for West Ham should they be able to complete a takeover of the club, as revealed by Steve Scott on his own Twitter account.
The ITV reporter released the statement, which has comments from Phillip Beard and Nasib Piriyev, while he also confirms in his post that the Ferdinand brothers are backing the deal.
In the statement, PAI Capital confirm that they have “reached the core principles” of an agreement over the London Stadium, which would see the consortium own the ground should they complete their takeover.
Huge news for the Hammers!
This is massive news for West Ham, and it seems as if the consortium have essentially agreed to buy the London Stadium should PAI Capital agree a deal to buy the Hammers.
The group had their first bid for the club rejected, but they are clearly not going away and have some exciting plans for the future.
The fact that they have pretty much agreed a deal to buy the London Stadium from the London Legacy Development Corporation suggests they will be back with another offer.

David Sullivan slated both the bid and the consortium when he initially rejected it, but it is clear that PAI Capital have good intentions, and we hope that they do agree on a deal to buy the Hammers [The Athletic].
There could be exciting times ahead for West Ham fans, and we will just have to wait and see what happens now but what is clear is that PAI Capital are not going away.
