Nottingham Forest appeal Premier League decision for Steve Cook to play v West Ham United
Nottingham Forest are waiting for a decision from the Premier League on re-adding Steve Cook to their squad ahead of their game against West Ham on Saturday (25 February), according to a report from The Mirror (page 63, 24 February).
The 31-year-old centre-back was de-listed from the 25-man squad after the January window. However, following injuries to Scott McKenna and Willy Bolly, they have appealed to the Premier League to reinstate Cook.
Despite the initial rejection, Forest have appealed again to the Premier League for Cook to be registered to the squad. However, there haven’t received any reply yet.

Big game
It is a massive game for West Ham, and they have to get a positive result here.
The Hammers suffered a blow last week after they lost 2-0 against Tottenham Hotspur. With that defeat, they have dropped to 18th in the table, five points behind Forest.
The league table is very tight at the bottom, and a couple of wins here and there could change the scenario completely.

David Moyes came under a lot of pressure following the defeat against Spurs, but his job is safe at the moment. The Hammers board are not keen to change their manager with 15 games left to play, but another home defeat could put them in a spot of bother.
Moyes will be pleased to welcome Maxwell Cornet who has returned to full training after a long absence. The Hammers are goal shy at the moment, and Moyes could look to start with Danny Ings for this game.
