Nigel Reo-Coker reacts to FA Cup win, says West Ham fans will not be happy
West Ham managed to scrape through to the fifth round of the FA Cup against sixth tier Kidderminster Harriers but that isn’t enough for one ex-Hammer.
Nigel Reo-Coker played over 100 times for the Irons between 2004 and 2007 and he knows the standards the supporters expect.
Speaking on the BBC’s Football Daily Podcast, the 37-year-old highlighted how the fans would not be pleased despite putting their name into the hat for the fifth round of the cup.

“West Ham fans will not be happy, with the performance and how hard-fought they had to be to get the win,” he said.
“Also to be bringing on the likes of Declan Rice, it just shows now how heavily reliant they are on him and it makes you worry with them still competing to try and finish in the top four.
“West Ham fans are very proud fans and that performance just wasn’t good enough.”
Win and scramble
It was always going to be a tough Saturday lunchtime for the Hammers with a raucous home crowd and a fired-up non-league opposition and it took them far too long to settle.

The first 45 minutes might well be the worst the Irons have played in a considerable number of years and Moyes had to ring the changes at half-time.
Rice was brought on for Alex Kral who failed to take his opportunity in the midfield and changed the game in West Ham’s favour.
It wasn’t a day to be playing fancy tricks and silky football, it was simply a case of getting the win and getting out of there.
Unfortunately for Moyes though, it took 30 minutes too long as Jarrod Bowen had to secure the victory in stoppage-time of extra-time.
Not ideal with a busy schedule ahead for the Hammers as the Europa League returns soon.
