Niclas Fullkrug ‘back playing’ after West Ham United injury development
Niclas Fullkrug has been spotted playing football again in Dubai as he continues his recovery from injury for West Ham.
West Ham Football relayed an image on X from BHAjules (5 February) of the German striker after he was spotted in a Hammers kit doing light training.
It has also been claimed that the 31-year-old was involved in a local kickabout session.
Niclas Fullkrug to return from West Ham United injury soon?
Fullkrug’s situation will come as a positive surprise for many, as he’s missed most of the season due to consistent fitness issues.
The German national signed for the Hammers last summer but has only made 11 appearances in all competitions this season.
Upon the 31-year-old’s arrival from Borussia Dortmund, there was hope among the London Stadium faithful after seemingly getting a prolific goalscorer in their ranks.
The supporters have been underwhelmed by the striker’s lack of impact at the East London club.
West Ham endured a poor start to the season, and Graham Potter subsequently replaced Julen Lopetegui.

The former Chelsea and Brighton boss has had a mixed start to his tenure at the London Stadium, winning just one game so far.
Potter has had to deal with an injury crisis up front, with Jarrod Bowen only returning to action in the 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday (3 February).
Evan Ferguson has been signed on loan from Brighton until the end of the season, which will make life difficult for Fullkrug once he recovers.
It remains to be seen how long it will take for the 31-year-old to be fully fit.
In other West Ham news, talks around the transfer of Luis Guilherme are being held in London.
