Nick Davies joins West Ham backroom staff from West Brom
West Ham United have appointed Nick Davies to their backroom staff ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Express and Star have reported that the former West Brom man will join up with David Moyes having worked together in the past.
Davies is described as an “expert” for injury prevention, a role which could be perfect at the London Stadium.

This could be an all-around smart move.
Moyes will know Davies perfectly, and the 58-year-old could have his hands full with the Europa League as well as domestic action.
Davies was the head of performance at West Brom and spent three years there working under numerous different managers.
After leaving the Hawthorns last month, the Irons will be able to hand him more consistency in his work, and also his colleagues.

Smart.
This could be one of the better appointments made in recent years.
One name that springs to mind instantly is Michail Antonio, who has struggled consistently for years now to maintain his fitness.
The striker has picked up more than one injury in what feels like every single season since arriving at the club, and he deserves better luck.
Hopefully, Davies can bring along some better methods and techniques which eventually lead to Antonio being able to play every single week.
With the Europa League being added to the schedule hopefully next season, there are more games to be played.
Davies will be critical to any success, with squad depth, not exactly our strength meaning we will need as few injuries as possible.
