Nice keen to hold on to Amine Gouiri amid West Ham United transfer link
West Ham and other European clubs could miss out on Nice striker Amine Gouiri, as reported by Foot Mercato.
The website reported on 28 July that the 22-year-old striker is being chased by a host of clubs, but Nice are determined to keep him at the club.
The Hammers are one of the clubs mentioned to be interested in Gouiri, but unless there’s a “fantastic” offer, Nice are unlikely to change their transfer stance.

Focus elsewhere
Gouiri is an exciting young talent who has been progressing at a tremendous rate. No wonder why so many clubs are vying for his signature.
He scored 28 goals in all competitions for Nice in the past two seasons. A modern-day striker, who brings a lot more to the game than just scoring, Gouiri would be a smart addition for any club.
But, the question is do West Ham need another striker?

The club finally landed one top-quality striker with Gianluca Scamacca joining from Sassuolo. David Moyes now has two very good strikers at his disposal, with Michail Antonio being the other one.
In case there’s an injury crisis, Jarrod Bowen can play upfront as well. So, the Hammers probably don’t need another striker this summer, the money could be used elsewhere.
West Ham have done terrific business so far, managing to sign four players already. However, the Hammers still need to add another left-back and a central midfielder to their ranks.
