Newcastle confident of beating West Ham to sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja

Newcastle’s recruitment team is reportedly confident of bettering what West Ham offer Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.

According to the Northern Echo on Sunday, July 3, the Saudi-owned club feel that they hold the upper hand to sign the 20-year-old Albanian forward.

He is understood to be valued at between £20million and £25million if Thomas Tuchel does not deem him a part of his first-team plans for next season.

Money isn’t everything

Everyone knows that the Magpies’ financial muscle is far greater than the Irons and they will be able to pay more in fees and wages.

However, they do not have the same kind of attraction as some of the top clubs do, including West Ham as they can offer their players European football.

The Hammers will even challenge for a top-four finish three seasons in a row and it’s clear that they are a team on the rise.

There are no guarantees that Newcastle’s model is going to be successful as we’ve seen clubs throwing money at players and still failing to get to that next level.

At the London Stadium, Broja would not only work under a better manager but his level of teammates will also be higher than that he would get at St. James’ Park.

We’re sure that if he leaves Chelsea and West Ham match his transfer fee, there’s no other club he would go to and David Moyes would finally get his man.
