Nelson Semedo appears to suffer significant injury for Wolves ahead of West Ham clash
Wolves look to have received a major blow ahead of the meeting with West Ham on Sunday after Nelson Semedo went off injured in the defeat at Arsenal.
The Portuguese wing-back was replaced after an hour at the Emirates by Jonny Castro Otto, after he went down following a sprint.
The Hammers’ upcoming opponents held the lead going into the final 10 minutes but lost after goals from Nicolas Pepe and a 95th-minute own goal from goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Former Barcelona player Semedo may have suffered a significant injury as the Birmingham Mail reported: “Semedo was treated on the field for a few minutes and appeared to gesture towards Wolves’ medical staff with a tearing motion. Semedo’s right leg seemed to be the area of concern.”
Unfortunate
Nobody wants to see a player knocked out with a bad injury but the Irons will take any help they can get ahead of a crucial match at the London Stadium.
Underwhelming draws in their last two outings has seen David Moyes’ side drop to sixth.
A defeat against Wolves would see their opponents leapfrog them so a victory is a particularly valuable here.

The Midlands side are two points behind with a game in hand so a win on Sunday would protect the Irons from losing a spot to them when they play their extra game.
Both sides look to be without the first choice right-sided defenders for the game after the club announced that Vladimir Coufal had undergone “successful” surgery.
Ben Johnson may be the beneficiary of the Czech’s absence after Ryan Fredericks was replaced at half-time in the draw with Newcastle by the 22-year-old.
A trip to Anfield to face high-flying Liverpool is the next Premier League fixture following the clash with Wolves so points at the London Stadium are a must.
In other West Ham news, an award-winning defender has reportedly been shortlisted for a summer transfer.
