Neil Moxley awestruck by ‘on fire’ Jarrod Bowen as England verdict shared on West Ham United ace
Jarrod Bowen should be included in the next England squad after his recent form for West Ham, according to Neil Moxley.
Writing on page 53 of the Sunday People’s print edition on 1 October, the journalist said the 26-year-old is “absolutely on fire” as per his “signature tune” with the Hammers.
After scoring in the Irons’ 2-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday (30 September), he claimed the winger “must be included” in Gareth Southgate’s next squad, adding that he “must play” as well in the games against Australia and Italy between 13-17 October.

Deserves it
The form from Bowen of late has been exceptional, having scored five goals and laid on one assist in the opening seven games of this season.
He has been crucial to West Ham’s early success and he looks a threat just about every time he picks up the ball, coming in off the right-hand side.
The winger seems very comfortable in his game at this moment in time and you would think he has done enough to earn another call-up to the England team.

Since making his international debut last year, he has played four times to suggest Southgate has no qualms about picking him if he believes he can have an impact on the side.
It would be a surprise if Bowen isn’t recalled due to his recent form, but all he can do is keep performing for the Irons and, hopefully, everything else will take care of itself.
